The call “Projects for export promotion and participation in exhibition events 2021-2022”, co-financed by the European Regional Development Fund, supports projects carried out by small and medium-sized enterprises for participation in international exhibitions held in foreign countries or in Italy under condition they have international title.

Comur, being an historical company of the Bologna Apennines operating in the field of gear machines, has participated with the project “New international markets for Comur Srl and machine tools for cylindrical gearing” , aiming to promote its range of cylindrical gearing machines on international markets.

Comur is nowadays managed by the third business generation, the company has a long manufacturing experience in the construction of gear cutting machines, starting from the recovery of old bases and the production of new components which give life to a new machine. This has been complemented by a new development path to produce totally new CNC machines.

With this project Comur has attempted to expand its commercial relationships both at Italian and foreign level, focusing mainly on the nearby European markets, taking the opportunity to participate in an international fair that in 2021 saw its 19th edition in Bologna.

COMUR ha partecipato quindi alla fiera internazionale MECSPE che si è tenuta a Bologna nei giorni 23-25 novembre 2021.

The cost of the project is € 10,000, the contribution granted amounts to € 10,000.

Project goals

• To relaunch promotional activities by presenting themselves on the market with a new look and a new range of machines.
• To give visibility to the COMUR brand and to its constructive and service capabilities
• To expand its commercial relationships both at Italian and foreign level, focusing mainly on the nearby European markets

Expected outcome

• To acquire new contacts and to resume business relationships already in progress.
• No. 100 new contacts that allow the company to optimize production processes and improve profitability margins.
• To have a broad overview of the performance of the sector and its development prospects
